So I went to my first Weight Watchers meeting today after work. I’m sure y’all are asking why would I start going to meetings after so much success…Truth is, I made a pact to myself that if I started losing motivation, I would attend meetings. Let me just tell you, my first meeting SUCKED! I had this bitch of a leader that had lost 50 lbs like 20 years ago, and just thought her shit didn’t stink. She wouldn’t allow anyone to ask questions in the “Getting Started” part of the meeting afterwards that was for all of us “meeting newbies”, and she kept looking at her watch like she just couldn’t WAIT to get out of there. I got yelled at for not wearing a nametag, and she was totally bitchy about the fact that I had already done the program for 4 months, and just NOW decided to go to a meeting. When I asked her whether or not it was cost effective to still pay for the online service, since I was now going to recieve everything in book form from Weight Watchers, she reponded with “I don’t control your money, that’s your problem!”

I am really hesitant about going back, but I heard that Wednesday afternoons is better because there is a different leader. What a way to get some motivation! Blah!
