WWIII (i.e. Living in the GHETTO!)

It’s a quarter to 10pm, and it is like freaking WWIII here! The amount of illegal fireworks people do in this neighborhood is insane! It’s actually a bit scary. People are shooting fireworks off in between houses, and in alleys so they don’t get caught by the police. The dog is having a coniption fit; he is scared off his rocker. If you browse down the page, you will see what he pulled last year. Tonight, we have already caught him eating a box, trying getting into the trash, and he will NOT leave my side. Earlier, I found him hiding in the bathroom. Poor old dog is going to have a heartattack. So am I if this doesn’t settle down soon! Good thing I have homeowners insurance on my house ! 
I’m a grumpy old lady, what do you expect. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t complain, right?

The first month I was in my apartment, the police yelled for a guy to “get the f*** on the ground” right outside my apartment door. What’s really scary, is I think it was my neighbor!
But no one shot off any fireworks in my apartment complex… wonder what that means…
