Re-run of the last 4th of July? I don’t think so!
I don’t really know why I am so excited to have 3 days off, but I am. I am not doing anything exciting for the 4th, but I hope the weekend is a less exciting than the fiasco that happened last year. Let me recap….
Josh was laying leveling compound in the bathroom to level out the floor before laying down the new vinyl, and the dog freaked out, jumped over Josh (as he was on his hands and knees in the doorway), and landed in the leveling compound, which is like quick drying mud. He freaked from the fireworks. The whole night freaked him out. Which in turn, freaked me out, which ended up pissing me off, because now I had a dog with dried mud in his fur. Yee Haw. Oh yeah, and I can’t forget the bottle rocket that almost landed on my head when I was out in the backyard for a meer moment.
So, to make a long story short, I am hoping for an uneventful holiday weekend. But then again, we live in the ghetto, so anything is boundto (and probably will) happen.
